Joining the fight to cure pediatric brain tumors

We’re grateful to Erin Cordry for joining our December 2 meeting to share her work raising funds for pediatric brain tumor research at Seattle Children’s Hospital. We were so inspired by this small but mighty volunteer group which has raised over $9 million over 20 years to fund research, clinical trials and innovative cures for pediatric brain tumors. Erin shared that even small amounts of $10,000 – 20,000 can fund a research trial that leads to innovative breakthroughs.

Erin Cordry founded the Pediatric Brain Tumor Research Fund in 2005 after her son Max was diagnosed with medulloblastoma.  After getting her son through the harsh treatment and participating in a clinical trail that saved his life, she has dedicated her time to making sure further research is funded to save the lives of other children and ultimately find better and curative treatments. Max recently graduated from college with honors!
